11 February 2026 | Science Made Fun 2.0 Programme at NIBM-IPharm

The programme has welcomed 145 participants, comprising 118 students and 27 teachers from Sekolah Rendah Agama Madrasah Uthmaniah and Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Intan. It was conducted at NIBM-IPharm to provide an engaging and immersive learning experience aimed at nurturing curiosity and strengthening interest in science and biotechnology among young learners.

At the Natural Products & Drug Discovery Centre (NPDC), students participated in the Setawar Leaf Grow Adventure, 3D Pen – Made Science Easy, Chemistry Model exploration, and the Mix & Match Science Puzzle. These activities combined creativity and scientific concepts, allowing students to visualise plant growth processes, understand molecular structures, and enhance problem-solving skills through interactive STEM-based tasks.

Meanwhile, at the Product Development & Research Centre (PDRC), participants explored the session “What is Soap & Why We Use It,” conducted the Pepper Experiment, engaged in a Hands-on Soap Making Activity, and concluded with a Wrap-up & Hygiene Message. These sessions emphasised practical science applications in daily life, particularly in understanding cleanliness, chemical reactions, and personal hygiene awareness.

At the Experimental Therapeutics & Toxicology Centre (ETTC), students experienced “Vitamin C: C-ing is Believing – A Hands-On Experience” and participated in The C-Defense Word Hunt. The activities introduced fundamental laboratory exposure while reinforcing knowledge about nutrients, health, and scientific terminology in an interactive format.

The programme also featured activities at the Animal Research Centre (ARC), held at Dewan Misai Kucing, where students took part in Wonderland of Laboratory Animal, Organ Explorer, and Think & Flip. These sessions provided insights into basic biological concepts and encouraged analytical thinking through guided exploration and engaging group interaction.

The initiative reflects our continued commitment to STEM outreach and science education, bridging classroom knowledge with real-world scientific exposure while inspiring the next generation of scientists.
