29 November 2025 – NIBM Fun Run 2025
The National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (NIBM) successfully organised the NIBM Fun Run 2025 this morning, featuring a 3KM route and attracting a total of 230 participants from diverse backgrounds. With the theme “We Unite Through Science & Technology,” the event brought meaningful engagement and joy to all who took part.
The run was flagged off by YBhg. Prof. Datuk Wira Dr. Raha Abdul Rahim, CEO of NIBM, along the scenic MARDI route. The closing ceremony was later officiated by YBhg, Dato’ Ruziah binti Shafei, Deputy Secretary-General (Science Planning and Cultivation), MOSTI.
To enliven the programme, a variety of activities were organised, including a Zumba warm-up session, lucky draws, health screenings, and a kids’ corner featuring colouring activities, sliding puzzles, heart puzzles, and dam ular. Participants also enjoyed refreshments from the Milo truck and various food vendors, adding to the festive atmosphere.
We are grateful for the favourable weather today despite the country experiencing the Senyar tropical storm yesterday. With the storm having weakened, we were fortunate to be greeted with a cool and pleasant morning, a perfect weather for the run.
