Upholding Integrity and Governance: NIBM’s Commitment to Ethical Excellence

Integrity is the foundation of trust in all our interactions with government agencies, partners, stakeholders and the public. We are firmly committed to uphold the highest ethical standards and practicing sound governance to ensure that NIBM’s operations are consistently transparent, accountable and aligned with national values of excellence and integrity.

NIBM has demonstrated its strong commitment to combating corruption, malpractice and abuse of power by signing the Corporate Integrity Pledge (CIP) on 4 June 2025. Through this pledge, NIBM has reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the following integrity-driven initiatives:

 

 

 

 

 

The signing ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Prof. Datuk Wira Dr. Raha Abdul Rahim, FASc, Chief Executive Officer of NIBM and witnessed by Puan Azlina Abdul Ajis, Chief Financial Officer of NIBM. Also present were the Directors of the Institutes under NIBM: Prof. Madya Dr. Syahrilnizam Abdullah, Director of the Malaysia Genome and Vaccine Institute (MGVI); Prof. Madya Dr. Tye Gee Jun, Director of the Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals (IPharm); and Dr. Seetha Jaganathan King, Director of the Agro-Biotechnology Institute (ABI) – symbolising their collective commitment to upholding the values of integrity.
