Established in 2012 by the Government of Malaysia, the National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (NIBM) is the nation’s premier agency driving biotechnology research, development, and innovation (RDI). Operating as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLBG) and a non-profit organisation under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), NIBM is a consortium comprising the Malaysia Genome & Vaccine Institute (MGVI), Agro-Biotechnology Institute Malaysia (ABI), and the Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals & Nutraceuticals (IPharm).
