Vaccine Collaboration Network (VCN) Committee Meeting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

30 March 2026 \u2013 The National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (NIBM) successfully convened the Vaccine Collaboration Network (VCN) Committee Meeting No. 1\/2026 at NIBM-MGVI, bringing together key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and advance vaccine development efforts in Malaysia.<\/p>

The session commenced with an opening address by Datuk Dr. Nor Fariza Ngah, Deputy Director-General of Health (Research and Technical Support), Ministry of Health (MOH), who also chaired the meeting. This was followed by a presentation on the Proposed Framework for Human Vaccine Commercialisation (KKVM), aimed at strengthening the development and commercialisation of locally produced vaccines in support of Malaysia\u2019s vaccine ecosystem.<\/p>

The Chief Executive Officer, YBhg. Prof. Datuk Wira Dr. Raha Abdul Rahim, FASc., also delivered a presentation on the progress of human vaccine pilot scale GMP facilities, ASBL-3 facility as well as Latihan Program Vaksin (LPV). The programme concluded with a question and answer session, followed by a visit to the GMP laboratory, supporting the growth of Malaysia\u2019s local vaccine capabilities.<\/p>
